19% of Fails - Lights. Start the car and have a friend walk around it giving you an indication that all lights are operating correctly. Check the headlights (full beam and dipped), tail and break lights, indicators, fog lights and driving lights (if fitted). It’s often just a blown bulb which is easy enough to change yourself. Also check the covers and lenses for cracks and misting as these can also lead to a fail.
